Pınar Demircan holds a PhD in sociology and works as an anti-nuclear academic. She is a member of the Greens of Turkey, the Green Thought Association, and has been the coordinator of nukleersiz.org (Nuclear-Free) since 2015. Her research interests lie at the intersections of climate crisis, social transformation, environmental justice, nuclear politics, and civil society movements.
