Republication and syndication

The Green European Journal has an open republication and syndication policy. If you are interested in republishing one of our articles on a non-commercial basis, you may do so provided that the following conditions are met:

  • Appropriate credit is given and a link back to the original text provided.
  • Changes are kept minor and are mentioned. Contact the editorial team before publishing a version with major changes.
  • The editorial team is notified at gej@gef.eu.
  • The article is itself not a republication.

Original Green European Journal content is licensed under Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International license. If the article that you wish to republish is itself a republication, see with the original publisher. For content produced by partnership with other publishers, contact the editorial team.

For commercial use, contact the editorial team.

This republication policy does not apply to graphics, illustrations, photos, audio and podcasts. These may require permission from artists and designers.

Editorial projects

Language and separate national public spheres are hurdles for transnational politics to overcome, in Europe as around the world. To help ideas and debates cross borders of all kinds, the Green European Journal works with many publications and partners to reach different readerships and gain new perspectives. If your organisation is interested in a shared editorial project, republication agreement or cooperation on translation (we have published in 21 languages), we would be happy to hear from you.
