Agnese Logina is a city councillor in Riga, Latvia. She served as Latvia’s Minister of Culture (2023–2024), representing The Progressives (European Greens) in the Latvian government. Before becoming a full-time politician, Logina was the curator and later the director of the Riga Film Museum. She spent over a decade working at various film festivals, curating programmes and special events. She also lectures on cultural theory and frequently writes about culture for online publications. Her interests include culture, cinema, and exploring ways to improve the quality of life through cultural engagement.
