Alfredo Bosco (Ronin) is a documentary photographer focusing on social issues and geopolitical crises. He specialises in stories on criminality, conflicts, and human rights. He received awards including the ICRC Humanitarian Visa d’or Award, The Special Prize for humanitarian photography at the Andrei Stenin contest, and the best portfolio premio Voglino. In 2022 he received the “Antonio Russo” Journalism award as best war photographer for his coverage of the conflict in Ukraine, and in 2024 the Journalism award “Almerigo Grilz” for his work with Luca Steinmann on drug trafficking in Syria and Iraq. He collaborates with il Millimetro as writer and his articles are published on Il Fatto Quotidiano. He exhibits in many photography festivals and galleries across Europe.
