Bianca Castro is a Portuguese actress, climate justice activist, and environmental columnist with over 6 years of experience in grassroots movements and UN climate negotiations. She began her climate activism in 2019 with the Fridays For Future movement, organising Lisbon’s first-ever student climate strike. Currently, she serves as the Deputy Program Leader of Roots. Bianca’s work is rooted in justice, working with frontline communities and youth, and holding governments and corporations accountable.
