Cody Hochstenbach is assistant professor of urban geography at the University of Amsterdam. His research broadly focuses on the political economy of housing, housing’s impact on social inequalities, and spatial processes including segregation, gentrification, and suburbanising poverty. He is the author of Uitgevoond (“Worn out”, 2022) and In schaamte kun je niet wonen (“You can’t live in shame”, 2023).
