Hannah Winnick

Hannah Winnick is Executive Director at Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Washington, DC. Previously, Hannah served as the founding director of the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Washington DC’s Transatlantic Democracy Program. From 2020 to 2022, she designed and launched the Obama Foundation’s “Leaders Europe” programme, an intensive leadership development curriculum for activists, elected officials, NGO leaders and start-up founders. Hannah holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Amherst College and a master’s degree in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, where she focused on international negotiation and conflict resolution. She lives with her wife in Washington, DC.
