Irena Fiket is a senior research associate at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory at the University of Belgrade, where she is also the coordinator of ActiveLab, the Laboratory for Active Citizenship and Democratic Innovations. She is also co-founder and member of the Standing Group on Democratic Innovations at the European Consortium for Political Research. Her research interests include civic participation, democratic innovations, deliberative democracy, the European public sphere, higher education in the European space, and gender equality.
