Jenny Ufer studied Degrowth: Ecology, Economics and Policy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She wrote her master’s thesis on the topic of borders and degrowth and is particularly interested in a global justice perspective for migration beyond structural border violence. Since 2023, she has worked as a researcher at the Center for Advanced Studies at Eurac Research in Bolzano, Italy, where she collaborates on projects around social-ecological transformations.
