Jörg Tremmel is an Extraordinary Professor of Political Science at the University of Tübingen, where he specialises in intergenerational justice, democratic theory, and institutional design. He is the author of A Theory of Intergenerational Justice (2009) and has published widely on offices for future generations and the reform of democratic institutions. He is also the founder, scientific director, and member of the executive board at the Foundation for the Rights of Future Generations in Germany.
