José Henrique Bortoluci holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Michigan (CAPES/Fulbright scholarship) and is a professor at the Getulio Vargas Foundation (CPDOC-FGV). He is interested in research in the areas of Social Theory, Urban Studies and Political Sociology (mainly Social Movements and Theory and comparative studies of Democracy).
