Maria Hadjipavlou has been an associate professor at the Department of Social and Political Sciences, University of Cyprus, between 1995 and 2013. She is the author of Women and Change in Cyprus: Feminisms and Gender in Conflict (I.B. Tauris, 2010). Her work focuses on conflict resolution, the Cyprus conflict, women and peace, ethnic stereotypes, feminism, and more.
