Matěj Stropnický was the leader of the Czech Greens between January 2016 and October 2017 and is the leading candidate for Prague in the upcoming Czech legislative elections. He is currently a member of the Prague City Hall on behalf of the Greens, where he was elected from his neighbourhood of Prague 3, Žižkov, in 2014. He was previously the Vice Mayor of Žižkov (Prague 3) for Housing and Culture from 2012 to 2014.
