Melanie Schiller is a professor of contemporary media cultures at Radboud University in the Netherlands. She is the co-editor of Popular Music and the Rise of Populism in Europe ( Routledge, 2024) and author of Soundtracking Germany: Popular Music and National Identity (Rowman & Littlefi eld International, 2018 and 2020). Schiller is also the chair of the Benelux branch of the International Association for the Study of Popular Music (IASPM).
