Michaela Pixová is a critical human geographer and Assistant Professor at the Institute of Ethnology and Central European and Balkan Studies, Faculty of Arts, Charles University . She is currently involved, in collaboration with Södertörn University in Stockholm, in the international project Sustain Action, which focuses on the resilience and resourcefulness of social movements and civil society in the context of multiple overlapping crises. She is also a member of the Green Party (Strana zelených) in the Czech Republic.
