Sarah Schindler

Sarah Schindler is the Associate Dean for Research and the Edward S. Godfrey Professor of Law at the University of Maine School of Law. Professor Schindler is nationally recognised for her scholarship, which focuses on property law, land use, local government, and the built environment. Prior to joining the Maine Law faculty in 2009, Professor Schindler clerked for Judge Will Garwood of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in Austin, Texas and practiced in the area of land use and environmental law at a large, international law firm in San Francisco.
