Silvia Martelli is a multimedia journalist at Il Sole 24 Ore, where she primarily covers foreign affairs for Lab24. In the past, she has covered the US presidential elections for the BBC and Congress, the White House, and the Supreme Court for several US publications, including USA Today, UPI, and MarketWatch. She also worked for Vice Media’s Vice News Tonight television programme and has written about foreign affairs for La Repubblica. She also investigated the food crisis in the United Kingdom for the Pulitzer Center. She was awarded the White House’s Best Young Journalist on Capitol Hill Award.
