Alast Mojtahed Najafi

Alast Mojtahed Najafi is an expert in foreign affairs and human rights with a strong commitment to gender and racial justice. During their tenure at the European Parliament, they founded a support group dedicated to addressing the needs of racialised staff. At the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung, Alast led outreach activities for the foundation’s European Union office. They hold a BA in European Studies and an MA in International Relations, having studied at institutions in Osnabrück, Gqeberha, Dresden, and Istanbul. Additionally, Alast earned a master’s degree in Human Rights from UCLouvain and an LL.M in European Law from Leiden University.
