Alina Mungiu-Pippidi is the author of A Quest for Good Governance. How Societies Build Control of Corruption (Cambridge University Press, 2015). She is Professor of Democracy Studies at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, where she chairs the European Research Centre for Anti-Corruption and State-Building (ERCAS) and chaired several EU research projects, resulting in open data repositories as Opentender.eu or www.integrity-index.eu. Alina has also been an anti-corruption activist who created most Romanian anti-corruption civil society alliances.
