Prof. Dr. Claus Leggewie has been, since 2007, director of the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities Essen (KWI) and is also Chairman of their Board of Directors. As of 2012, he is Co-Director of the Käte Hamburger Collegium “Political Cultures of World Society” at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
