Katalin Halmai is a Hungarian journalist who was the Brussels correspondent for several independent Hungarian newspapers, including the daily Népszava, for over 20 years before retiring at the end of 2024. Prior to her work as a Brussels correspondent, she held various positions in leading Hungarian daily and weekly newspapers.
