Marie Eenens

Marie Eenens is a graduate in the fields of critical development studies and environmental policymaking. She conducted field work in Malaysia, Colombia, and Ecuador, focusing her academic work on extractivism and nature conservation. Her professional experience revolves around communication, administration, policy, and events in the editorial and scientific sectors focusing on sustainability, notably within the Green European Journal and the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre. She is also an activist for degrowth and Palestine.
