Nira Yuval-Davis

Nira Yuval-Davis the Director of the Centre for Research on Migration, Refugees and Belonging at the University of East London and a Visiting Professor at the Centre for Gender Studies at the University of Umea, Sweden. At present she is co-ordinating the work on Section 9 of the EU Borderscapes project that focuses on “Borders, Intersectionality and the Everyday”. Her books include Racialized Boundaries (1992), Gender and Nation (1997), and Women Against Fundamentalism: Stories of Dissent and Solidarity (2014). Her forthcoming book Bordering will be published in 2017.
