Peter Newell is a Professor of International Relations at the University of Sussex (UK) and Research Director of the Rapid Transition Alliance. He is the author of the books Power Shift: The Global Political Economy of Energy Transitions (Cambridge University Press, 2021) and Global Green Politics (Cambridge University Press, 2019).
