Jean-François Caron is a French Green politician. He is a former mayor of Loos-en-Gohelle (2001-2023) and a former Vice-President of the Region of Nord-Pas-de-Calais, in northern France. He is also the President of the association that promotes “La Fabrique des Transitions”, an alliance of nearly 400 stakeholders (local authorities, civil society organisations, businesses, universities, etc.) who are convinced that local areas are key players in the ecological transition.
